Blanketed in Stars

This was one of my motivations to become rich. I would travel the world to find this beautiful jewel. The night blanketed in stars and Aurora seems so beautiful, so . . . otherworldly.

Gray Days

It’s literally gray when it feels like it’s going to rain heavily. In the city where I live now, the rain has schedules. Sometimes it’s going to rain at 1 p.m. or 2, sometimes at 7 p.m. The question is why?

I just want to see the sunny days for at least a week straight without them being grays. I’m fed up with the fact that in Indonesia, now’s supposed to be a dry season where it’s theoretically nonsense to rain heavily almost everyday. And it makes my days gray.

Jolted Out of Thought

Two words: Climate Change

Hopefully this got people jolted out of their thought enough to realize that the climate is changing. It’s not normal in my opinion. Things got out of hand, it’s raining everyday and although so, Bandung city feels hotter than 3 years prior to my arrival here.

Changing Toward Obscurity

I used to like rain a lot, back when I was in high school. At home, I could shower myself under the rain and enjoy the cold and soothing sensation of rainfalls. It gives me the nostalgic feeling —like all of my past memories are fused into one. But right now, it makes me rather, let’s say incensed.

Last year, almost every day in Bandung was raining. Although I like rainfall, but I think this is abnormal and unusual. It is a common knowledge that Indonesia has 2 seasons and 2 seasons only, wet and dry season. The absence of dry season is making me terrified.

Massive Universe

The universe is massive.

That’s what I’m thinking until now. Universe is ridiculously massive. There are many galaxies out there; even the galaxy where we are today — Milky Way — mostly still unexplored.

I found out about the universe for the first time when I was in elementary school, particularly in Religion class. You know it — teachers preaching about the divinity of God. One things lead to another, that teacher explained that universe was one of the God’s best creation. Because it is.

A Sound I Missed

When I was on vacation with both of my parent to take care our second house, every night I hear cricket’s sound. The sound, although rhythmic, but actually kind of comforting.

I don’t know why. It’s just…

It felt right.

The Bounty of Nature

This is one of the tourist destination—Tawang Mangu—not far from my hometown. When I went here with my schoolmates at junior high school, I witnessed the bounty of nature. Of course, these kind of places makes me calm and serene.

The Stars are Gone

Just another night sky,
without any stars shining.

They say it’s due to light pollution.
But I don’t care,
as long as they return my stars,
that always accompanied me,
whenever I felt alone.

Dead, Afloat

In case if you wonder, those are floating dead fish in Germany. In my opinion, those are a lot of dead fish. Too bad we can’t eat those fish.

Glimmering the World

Shining bright on the sky,
though sometimes blocked by grey clouds,
you still make the world glimmers.
