Lost Control

After reading the title of this post, I suddenly remember the video above. The first time I watched it, I lost control and laughed too much.

He answered so well he could make the questions asked sounded stupid.

And I think, this cements the stereotype that Asians are generally smarter than any other race, in several particular subjects, of course. Hope I’m not offending someone here.

Education

Wish to be Apprenticed

Learning new life skills is necessary, like my brother-in-law once said. And there’s truth in it. He thinks that once a man stop learning, he ceases to be useful.

But looking for someone willing to apprentice me, for example, is another matter. I feel I’m incapable of selling myself when the interviews are being held, and that is proof enough for them, the masters to judge me inferior. Continue reading

The Best Perfume

Petrichor

I read the Perfume novel by Patrick Suskind. It tells about a man searching for the best recipe to create a perfume that could spread love.

But that’s not the best perfume for me. It’s the smell of the rain — petrichor — that smells the best. Because it’s natural, and because it’s rare. Not every rain you get to smell a perfume so magical, so earthy.  Continue reading

Knackered Mind

A knackered mind can only do so little than usually. That’s why I haven’t posted for several days.

My creativity is destroyed; my imagination is limited to just what I have to know so I could pass college. My mind is weary.

Wish I could go back to the past, being kids again. Never have to worry about the future. You don’t have to worry about life, about death, about failure.

Kids, their minds are never knackered. 🙂

Progress #1 Interaksi Manusia dan Komputer

Progress 1 IMK.jpg

Belanja bahan/alat untuk proyek kami yang berjudul MILC – MILC is a Liquid Conditioner yaitu:

  1. Botol Coca-cola 1.5 Liter berjumlah 2 botol
  2. Botol NU Green Tea 1 botol
  3. Lem bakar 5 buah
  4. Selang 1 meter
  5. Kertas duplex 1 buah (lupa ukurannya)
  6. Sedotan 1 bungkus, harga 500-an
  7. Lem Alteco, dan lainnya

Kemajuan

Doakan saja. 🙂

Life Purposes

Strong Roots

Pohon depan ITB
A couple of trees with strong roots, but unfortunately never used for shelters.

It actually reminds me of people who are very smart, creative and brilliant who aren’t used by society because they couldn’t fit.

Amazingly, these trees didn’t collapse when the heavy rain stormed the city several days ago. I guess strong roots expand your life span, somehow.

Gray Days

Mendung.jpg
It’s literally gray when it feels like it’s going to rain heavily. In the city where I live now, the rain has schedules. Sometimes it’s going to rain at 1 p.m. or 2, sometimes at 7 p.m. The question is why?

I just want to see the sunny days for at least a week straight without them being grays. I’m fed up with the fact that in Indonesia, now’s supposed to be a dry season where it’s theoretically nonsense to rain heavily almost everyday. And it makes my days gray.

Time Zips By

Kemacetan
As I went home from college yesterday, I was sort of trapped in traffic congestion. Suddenly, I remembered that one of my sister would be 30 this June, and now I’m 21 years old.

Time zips by, you know. It makes you question what you’ve done with your life, and honestly, I don’t know what I’ve done. And I’m afraid of the future. Continue reading
